Best destinations for 2026

New year has just started and you are browsing airlines websites already? Let me share tips where to go this year!

São Miguel, Azores

The most breathtaking nature I have seen in my life. I once heard a girl to say "If Hawaii and Ireland had a baby, it would be Azores". I have visited only the main island, Sao Miguel, but it was so worth it!

Rent a car and in 4-6 days you can comfortably get to know the most iconic spots around. And the advantage? If on one side of the island is raining, just drive to the other side where it is sunny 🤭

Vlore, Albania

Albania is becoming more and more visited and I had the chance to spent 2 months in Vlore. It is calm sea side town, with very local vibes. Summer may be packed a bit, but if you go in September/October, you won't see almost any tourists and weather is still pleasing and okay to swim! And very, very budget friendly. I would recommend renting a car and visiting also Girokaster and Sarande for a beach day!

But also, one of my favourite hikes I have ever done was close to there, Mt. Cikes. Challenging, but absolutely amazing.

Puerto Escondido, Mexico

Forget about Tulum, Playa del Carmen.. the state of Oaxaca has it all! Best waves from March to November with a lot of rain in summer to dry, touristic season from Novemer to March.

Friendly beach town with a great blend of locals and foreigners. Great surf spots but no worries, even if you don't surf, you will have a lot of fun!

Soul, South Korea

The cleanest city I have ever seen so far. Feels like everything works great, smooth. I remember the moment I got out of the train from the airport to Seoul and walking to the hostel I was thinking: I really needed to visit Seoul, but I didn't know it until I was here.

I visited Seoul in June and the weather was very nice, shorts and T-shirts but also remember wearing jeans and hoodie at some points during the day because it was raining sometimes.

Also, don't forget - take an extra empty luggage to bring home cosmetics and clothes! Yes, very cheap and stylish clothes 😊

Soo.. where are you heading first?! 🛫
